Hi everyone! Thank you so much for all the wonderful support on Series 1 of Cute Cryptids. I am so pleased to announce that the Kickstarter for Series 2 is now live and ready for capturing!
We also have the goal of being able to backorder specific pins for Series 1! This is your chance to complete the collection or maybe get designs you weren't able to afford before. Reminder that Kickstarter is the only way that you can get speicifc designs, after that they are packaged into Mystery bags available on my online store and conventions.

Hello everyone!
Thank you for your patience in dealing with Backerkit and then most recently my household got covid so I wanted to make sure I was not sick when I packaged and posted peoples orders! We have also been dealing with a pet health emergency too so this month did not go as planned but...
Happy to announce that all Australian domestic and international orders from the Kickstarter have been posted! Thank you to everyone who answered their surveys and provided addresses etc. There are a small handful of people who have not responded to their surveys or my messages at all - sadly I cannot fullfil your pledge without your details. If this is you, please fill out your survey or if there are any issues please contact me directly - see links below.
I am also working on the additional merch as extras for the next Kickstarter, such as T-shirts and pritns but would love to hear if you have any speicific requests or things you would like to see :)

When will Series 2 come out?
I'm currently working on revising some designs to improve their quality and changing the size from series 1. They will be available to back on Kickstarter in September 2022. If you want a sneak peek at the rest of the deisgns and WIP you can follow my Patreon exclusive posts for as little as $2 per month.

If you would like to buy more pins to collect the set or you missed out on the one you wanted - you can still purchase from the pre-order store and eventually my main store (its currently closed but will open near Halloween).
My pledge was never processed by Kickstarter?
If you didn't have the funds the 2 times that Kickstarter attempted to process payment, that is okay I understand peoples financial situation changes, however this means your pledge was not sent to Backerkit and was not part of the next steps. You are welcome to purchase from the pre-order store and eventually my main store. You may even get the chance to purcahse series 1 pins in the series 2 Kickstarter coming soon...

Hi everyone,
Great news, Backerkiet surveys have been sent out and should be in your mail inbox. I have had about 70% of backers respond which is great.
There was an issue with printing for the vinyl stickers so waiting on the reprint to arrive. I was going to wait for 100% of surveys to be back before packing but it has been a couple of weeks now. I will start packing orders this weekend and be sending out in batches.
You do not need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey, just click on the survey link, fill it out, and you’re all good to go! You will be able to answer questions about your reward preferences, providing shopping information, and pledge for more pins or goodies.

Hello eveyrone! Thank you so much for all of your support with this project and I am so happy to announce that we have successfully fully funded Cute Cryptids - Series 1!
There are always risks with doing Kickstarters, one of the hardest ones is when the project is fully funded however a significant number of pledges drop off afterwards leaving the project underfunded but still has to be fulfilled. Kickstarter states that rewards are never guarenteed, to protect themsevles, however I will always still fulfill projects and orders! This happened during my last project (but not to this extent) and there are many reasons for this i.e. people forget to have the amount in their account and don't respond to when Kickstarter reminds them and tries again, peoples financial situation changes from the time they back the project etc. so if you are one of these people please know that I understand and I talk about this in the interest of transparency, not to make anyone feel bad if they did not fulfil their pledge.
I disclosed the errored amount on my Instagram story but I wont mention it here, all I can say that this I estimate the project will be delayed by 2-6 weeks whilst I work hard to make up the difference where I can.
WHAT'S NEXT
- Funding to be processed by Kickstarter then recieved into bank acocunt (hopefully before end of April)
- Payment made to manufacturer in two payments Kickstarter amount upfront, then I will need time to make up for the rest of the failed backers... (first payment end of April, second payment end of May-ish
- Backerkit will be sent out once I have the pins and can appropriately charge the correct postage amount for each order (June/July)
